ok so three things that are frustrating me right now. 1. shiloe's bday order of books 2. pontiac dealership 3. people hit-n'-running our bathroom.....
ok so first off let me cover the least of frustrations.... the pontiac dealership. i took the car into service yesterday and it was fine and dandy just did an oil change. when i was paying at the cashier's the card didn't run through the first try so we tried again and it worked. today i checked my bank account and there it was... twice. so i call them immediately, to be greeted with "i'm sorry the cashier is out to lunch, you will have to leave a voicemail." of course having been a receptionist myself i know this could mean 1 of two things, 1-she really is out to lunch but that was like an hour or more ago she really should be back by now. or 2-she has been instructed to take a message so the cashier doesn't have to deal with troubled customers. she still hasn't called back when the receptionist said she would as soon as she got back from lunch. i've watched her.. there isn't much to her job. maybe every twenty minutes she rings someone up but that's it.... what could she be so busy with???
ok so next, the hit-n'-running has got to stop! there is a perfectly good guest bathroom upstairs and like nobody is home.... so why come all the way downstairs to use my bathroom when the upstairs guest bathroom is not in use???? then after run back up the stairs and disappear by the time i get there. convenient. so i put a sign on the bathroom door. maybe that'll help.
last and most frustrating to the point of tears-i finally found a seller that i didn't have to pay duties or customs on and that i could pay in usd.....so i order the books for shiloe's birthday. i receive a confirmation saying they will be sent expeditiously and that customer satisfaction is #1 priority..... well today i receive an email (not 24 hours later) that my order has been canceled, my card has not been charged and they advise that if i am still interested in the product to search it again and purchase it again. what the crap??? so i look at their frequently asked questions regarding canceled orders, which first addresses if you canceled the order yourself, then if it was canceled then they ran out of stock and you will be refunded if you were charged. ok, so i check my bank account, sure enough i have been charged but not refunded. the email lied. so i find my order id and wrote them an email asking why it was canceled and why i wasn't refunded, and asking for help in either getting my refund or getting those books. so far no answer. i am thoroughly upset and ready to cry. everything i am trying to do is not working out.... i try to get shiloe the books he has wanted all his life, and i end up getting scammed. i try to get the car serviced like shiloe asked and i get charged twice and they won't call me back. i try to get tickets to a ballet for shiloe and i end up getting them for the wrong day so he has to call and talk to a manager to get them transferred to a different day. fantastic. can i do anything right???
so here i am utterly depressed and venting so i can get on with trying to do something useful with my time. i'm sure it'll turn out i just wish it would turn out sooner.
